Sally Thomas, Honorary Chair
Sally Thomas is the former Chairperson of the Albemarle County’s Board of Supervisors, from which she recently retired after over sixteen years of service to the County. She continues to serve on the boards of several community organizations, including the Lewis and Clark Exploratory Center, the Aids Services Group and Scenic Virginia.
Waldo Jaquith is the founder of Richmond Sunlight, which allows citizens to track legislation and legislators’ votes in the Virginia General Assembly. He blogs at cvillenews.com and reports on local news and events. He is a member of the board of the Virginia Coalition for Open Government.
Graham Paige is a retired teacher with a Masters Degree in Education. Since retirement, he has been actively involved in many civic and fraternal organizations in the community including serving on boards of The Scottsville Museum, the Piedmont Housing Alliance, Jordan Development Corporation, SAFP Advisory Board and FSAICC. Graham is a member of the New Green Mountain Baptist Church in Esmont.
John Dean has been a resident of the Charlottesville/Albemarle area for over 35 years. A graduate of the University of Virginia, he has long been involved in promoting the need for responsible, reasonable, and responsive local government.
